Anton Ranch Anton Ranch, is located in the heart of wine country, is dedicated to the barrel racing industry. Breeding prospects to running barrels we do it all. We are now happy to offer boarding and lessons to the Sonoma County and surrounding areas. We enjoy helping all levels of riders, from beginners who want to enjoy a weekend ride around the vineyards to those seeking more advanced performance training. The ranch has horses available to ride, or plenty of space to bring your own. Come check out all we have to offer!
Anton Ranch was started in 2005 as a small 10 acre farm. The girls of Anton Ranch began barrel racing at a young age and were instantly obsessed. Soon the competitive edge took over, no longer was barrel racing enough but they wanted to win, therefore they invested in the best stock and continued with their own breeding program. In 2018 the Ranch had the largest growth and expansion to date. The Ranch now offers 40+ acres, 12' x 24' 8 stall barn with attached 12' x 24' runs, 2 mare sheds, and 10+ acres of grass turnout. The Ranch offer many trails. You're able to experience a quiet ride around vineyards, cattle yards and river riding all in one location. The Ranch also have a 100' x 200' all weather riding arena perfect for barrel racing. or just hacking around. It's a wonderful, beautiful facility that you will have to see for yourself. Ali Anton
After getting my first great mare - Smooth as Firewater from my good friend Nicole Tuturo at 3Drum Barrel Horses, I began training with Cathey Vallerga from Lower Lake, CA. I've been riding my heart out ever since. At first barrel racing came easy-peasy but as all things there came a point of struggle and hard work needed to be put in. I found my drive to win after many years of struggling and 2018 was a great year for me. Not only did I win multiple races but I also filled my WPRA permit. I excited to see what the future holds for Anton Ranch.

Accomplishments: 2019 WPRA CA Circuit Member, 2018 Filled WPRA Permit, 2017 American Qualifier, 2012 BFA Derby Reserve Champion, 2012 BFA Open Go Round 2 Champion, 2012 Go Round Winner at West Coast Barrel Racing Finals, Las Vegas NBHA Super Show Record Holder for 3 Years in a row. Christiane Anton
I started riding before I could walk. I always wanted to be my sister, racing as fast as I can around the barrels. Any time Ali would teach me something I would cling to it, I knew it would make me a better rider. I started training with Cathey when I was 8 years old with my first horse and I haven't stop since.
